“I rather enjoyed my walk back over the hills, for the effect of the deep blue hills in the distance, with the rays of the sun shining down from masses of dark clouds in the sky, was very beautiful. Then the soft feathery green of the trees below me in the village, relieved here and there by dashes of white blossoms made a pretty bit of color in the landscape, and though I was not tempted to extend my walk, I was rather glad to have had it.”
